Variable Description

Name
[cor_per_start_record_id_code] en-NZ
Description

This is the identifier for the event starting the period. Examples of event identifiers include remand_warrant_id, aggregate_sentence_id, board_hearing_order_id, recall_id, termination_id, etc. Each event is given a specific code, which is coded as this variable. The record_id is called the event_id in the following tables: • cor_mmp_event_id_code (ov_major_mgmt_periods table) • cor_mpe_event_id_code (ov_major_periods table)

All of the events from the numerous transaction tables that influence in some way to the starting and stopping of managements for an offender. They include such events as sentence starts/ends, suspensions, terminations, appeals, remand warrants, release orders etc.

This fact is useful to join to the other facts so that all of the underlying events triggering the period start/ends can be examined in more detail.
