Description
The online dictonary defines 'precarious' as "not firm or fimly fixed, likely to fail or give way, unsafe, insecure - lacking in security or saftey, an insecure future. When we use the term 'precarious employment' we are talking about respondents who do not have 'secure' work. Respondents whos job situation is not fixed (such as a full time permanent employee). The issue with using this term is that we are assuming that if a respondent is in what we would call a 'precarious emoployement' situation, this does not necessairy
