Description
Kōhanga Reo builds young children’s and parents’ knowledge of Te Reo Māori (language) and Tikanga (culture), and parents and whānau are closely involved in the child’s learning and development. It is a parent-led ECE service. Programmes in kōhanga reo are based on the total immersion of children from birth to school age in Māori language, culture, and values.
