Description

Age of youngest child is a derived variable that identifies the age of the ‘youngest child in a family nucleus’. It can be applied to (embedded or nested in) the following standard classifications: Family type and Household composition.

A dependent child under 18 is a ‘child in a family nucleus’ aged under 15 years or aged 15–17 years and not employed full time.
