Description
Goods and services are divided into separate components for goods and services. Goods comprise most movable goods that change ownership between New Zealand residents and non - residents. Separate entries are shown for general merchandise, goods for processing, repairs on goods, goods procured in ports by carriers, and non-monetary gold. Services comprise services traded between New Zealand residents and non-residents, together with some transactions in goods where, by international agreement, it is not practical to separate the goods and services components (eg goods purchased by travellers are classified to services).
