Other childcare centre

Description
Other childcare centres include daycares, preschools and creches. These centres operate under many different names, and a majority of these are run as private businesses where parents can put their child in for the whole day while they work. Meals are usually provided by the centre, and sleeping rooms are available for those children who need naps during the day. However some of these centres are community run and open for shorter hours. In some reports created from the childcare data, Pacific Island early childhood centres have been included in this category as numbers were small - they would have been suppressed when cross tabulated by certain variables.
