Description

Table CYF_EV_CLI_SAFETY_RISK_SCREEN_F holds information about the CYF Safety and Risk Event. The Safety and Risk screen event is a record of the social workers assessment of risk and safety for the child or young person and enables a rationale for the action taken as a result. The Safety and Risk screen must be completed for all care and protection cases that proceed to either a CFA (Child and Family Assessment) or investigation. The record is also used to determine whether a particular intake has been activated or not, and if activated, whether this activation occurred within the response timeframe. The date of when the Safety and Risk screen was applied reflects the date and time the visit to the child or young person and their family actually took place. The date and time can be backdated if necessary. Safety Assessments were completed prior to Safety and Risk Screen which commenced use in September 2013. These assessments similarly had an applied date which indicates the completion of this event. NB This event records completed safety assessments. Any intakes that will require a Safety and Risk screen are not recorded here, i.e. events in progress. The Intake Client Event allows identification of intakes where we expect the Safety and Risk screen event to occur. The intakes that qualify to require a Safety and Risk screen are: where the final intake outcome is FAR or FARCFA and is section 15, or notification section types are either S48, NONS15, ALEG.
