Description

The ability of an individual to perform a set of tasks or to fulfil the technical requirements of an occupation. This usually represents the level of qualification required to get a job, the amount of training that has been received for the tasks and duties performed, and the amount of time it takes to learn to do a job properly. Two different dimensions known as 'skill level' and 'skill specialisation' define the skill component.
