Description
Salaries and wages divided by turnover (sales and/or services plus interest received plus dividends plus rental and lease payments plus other income). This ratio represents the percentage of turnover income that is spent on labour costs. It can be an indicator of whether a business is spending too much or too little of its turnover income on staffing the business.
