CEN Iwi Group4

Identifies the fourth recorded iwi affiliation of an individual if applicable, and is otherwise null.

Note: A list of iwi were provided on the back of the Guide Notes supplied with the Census forms. An individual can self-report belonging to multiple iwi affiliations.

Note: The group number for iwi are not ranked, but are reported in ascending numerical order by code. This means the lowest code marked for a person is included in iwi1, followed by the second-lowest code included in iwi2, etc. The survey question was presented as tickboxes. The use of tickboxes invalidates any reference to relative order.
