Description

Indicates the distribution of values (such as projection results or assumptions). For example, the 25th percentile indicates an estimated 25 percent chance that the actual result will be lower, and a 75 percent chance that the actual result will be higher, than this percentile. Percentiles are non-additive except the 50th percentile(median). For example, percentiles for the population aged 15–39 and 40–64 years cannot be added together to give teh equivalent percentile for the population aged 15–64 years.
