Description
Total personal income is income from all sources for the financial year. It is collected using the New Zealand standard for classification of sources of personal income. Total personal income includes income from: employment (wages and salaries and self-employment income), financial or non-financial investment (eg ownership of assets), and current transfers received (social assistance and transfers from other households). It includes both taxable and non-taxable income.
