IDI MOE Tertiary education data

Each year Ministry of Education (MOE) provide data to Statistics New Zealand (SNZ) on education information. This data relates to students enrolled in courses, programmes and qualifications at schools, tertiary education providers and workplace-based training (industry training and modern apprentices) institutions.

Tertiary education data documents the contents of the tertiary education datasets the Ministry of Education (MoE) provides to Statistics NZ for use in the Integrated Data Infrastructure (IDI). It gives information on the variables contained in the datasets from 1994 – including technical information and descriptions.
