Ancillary Geographic Unit

Description

An administrative or general servicing unit such as a head office, storage unit, laboratory, etc, the prime function of which is to provide services for other locations of the enterprise.

Statistical Units and the Business Frame The Business Frame (BF) superseded the Business Directory (BD) in December 1996. The statistical units on the BF are enterprises, kind of activity units (kaus) and geographic units (geos). These replace enterprises, accounting units and activity units, respectively, on the BD. The underlying concepts are unchanged.
