Borrowings and Repayments

Description

Are flow items in Balance of Payments (see "Flows" below) Long-term liabilities are flows of borrowing (recorded as a credit entry) and repayment (recorded as a debit entry) recorded gross (that is borrowing is not offset against repayments). Short-term liabilities are flows of borrowing and repayments recorded net as a debit entry (i.e., repayments are offset against borrowings).
