Intermediate Goods

Description

Products classified as intermediate goods are those which require further processing or are intended for resale.

Any inputs to industry are also included as intermediate goods. Therefore, supplies and accessories essential to the maintenance of the machinery and the unassembled components of machinery etc. are inputs to industry and as such are classified as intermediate goods.
