Description

usually someone born in the years 1946–65, a period of high fertility rates and high numbers of births, although the definition of the baby boom period varies between sources and between countries. New Zealand's period total fertility rate was at least 3.5 births per woman during 1946–65, and at least 3.0 births per woman during 1945–72.
