Workplace Address is the meshblock of the respondents workplace. Workplace Address Indicator shows whether the respondent worked at home or at a workplace in the week prior to Census day. --

Variable name: Workplace Address (indicator and location) Definition: Workplace Address is the meshblock of the respondents workplace. Workplace Address Indicator shows whether the respondent worked at home or at a workplace in the week prior to Census day. Questionnaire: Individual form question 34 Subject population: Employed, Census Usually Resident Population Count aged 15 years and over.
Non-response: In who there were 210,741 people (12.2%) who could not be classified for workplace address. Quality level: Workplace address is a supplementary variable. Comparability with previous census data: The question is the same as in 1996. Things to be aware of: Work place address indicator is primarily used as a filter question so that people who work away from home supply their work address details. This variable is not generally used for analysis purposes.
